OUR IMPACT

At our core, we are a team of mission-driven innovators contributing to the building of a new 21st-century digital infrastructure of public safety.

For over ten years, we have been working tirelessly to mature our technology and to innovate in pursuit of an end to the scourge of human trafficking. The result of this endeavour is an ever-evolving suite of world class, purpose-built information discovery and analysis tools that sit at the heart of the work we do for our growing list of clients in multiple countries and sectors.  In recent years we have ramped up our client support and engagement in multiple geographies, including in the United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, and Brazil, to name just a few. And we now also work with clients and partners across the law enforcement, hospitality, financial, government and NGO sectors. As a result, in 2025 we are proud to say that we have more users of our technology than in any other period in our company’s history.

At Marinus, we see our role as supporting and helping those working at the front line of public safety. Every year we ask our public safety colleagues and partners to tell us if and how our technology is helping them to get the job done.

Their feedback helps us to understand what works, where we have helped to deliver success, and what else we might need to do to continue elevating our impact on the fight against transnational organized crime, human trafficking, money laundering and fraud.

In response to our client survey this year, we learned that our technology:

  • is seen as highly beneficial to the work of our partners

  • saves our partners large amounts of time

  • frequently creates fresh leads in ongoing investigations

  • helps to identify victims

Recently, a NCMEC analyst was able to locate online ads for a child using Traffic Jam’s new ability to identify social media, email, and other data incorporated within online ads. With this information, the analyst was able to locate the child’s most recent social media accounts, which revealed new important details about the missing child’s circumstances. This information was immediately made available to law enforcement who took action to recover the child.
